What do you like about advising?

I love having the opportunity to provide students with guidance and support during their college career. A great advising appointment changed the course of my time at college and I would love to do the same for you!

What do you like about working with engineering students?

I love that no two advising appointments are the same! The CoE has such a vast and diverse range of students.

What was your major in college, and why?

I majored in Psychology at Eastern Michigan University. I have always been fascinated with what people think, do, and why. I think that an understanding of others is one of the greatest tools you can give yourself!

What is your best piece of advice for first year students?

Stop and smell the roses! College can be overwhelming at times, so it’s important to take your time and take care of yourself. The next few years will be over in a blink of an eye. Make sure you enjoy them!

What do you spend time on outside of your work?

I am an avid sports fan (for better or worse), and I love playing video games in my free time!
