Hi, I’m Emma Mallon and I am a junior from Hartland, MI studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science and Engineering. I joined the program as a mentor in 2016, and I am very excited to be a coordinator of the Peer Mentorship Program this year! In my free time I enjoy giving tours for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions through Campus Day and assisting in student recruitment through Student Ambassadors. I am also a member of Michigan Neuroprosthetics, a biomedical design team, and the Michigan Pompon Team. I’m very excited to assist a new group of mentors in making first-year students’ experience at Michigan one they will never forget! Feel free to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or concerns. Go Blue!
My name is Jessica Foss and I am currently a junior from Tecumseh, MI majoring in biomedical engineering with a concentration in biomechanics. I first became involved in this program as a freshman mentee in Fall 2014, became a mentor the following year, and I am very excited to now be one of the Student Coordinators! This program has helped me make friends in my classes and really find a home at the University. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing as a member of Outrage dance, teaching catechism, researching in the human neuromechanics lab, and hanging out with friends! I’m very excited for another group of freshman to be able to experience all the University has to offer. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at email@example.com!
